VIDEO: Parenting Without Pity

#ParentingWithoutPity is a storytelling project where disabled parents offer compassionate and frank advice and guidance to non-disabled parents of disabled children. We draw from our own experience of disability as children to help non-disabled parents be better allies for their disabled children.

Visit the series page for short biographies of the twenty-two parents and children featured in the series.

Rooted in Rights is hosting a Parenting Without Pity event at Seattle’s Town Hall June 13. Visit their site for tickets and more information.
