Service and companion animals can help people with disabilities go about their daily lives.  Unfortunately, there’s still a lot of confusion about the rules that govern service and companion animals and the rights of animal owners. Worse, the rules change from state to state, so it can be really hard to keep up.

In Washington state, this video was produced by Rooted in Rights for the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs, The Washington Traumatic Brain Injury Strategic Partnership Advisory Council and Disability Rights Washington to try to clear up some of the main issues.
