Video series examines “the truth about disability”

Attitude TV has released a three episode series that explores the lives of various people with disabilities – and the reality often differs from the common perceptions. Called “The Truth about Disability”, the series examines topics such as driving, shopping, work, and travel. In particular, the first episode of the series scrutinizes the common misconception that people with disabilities have less fun, or live somehow less rich lives. Including interviews with a wide range of people with differing disabilities, the first episode also discusses the need for an increase in acceptance and awareness around the subject of disability. All three of the episodes are available on Youtube. The first episode has been divided into two videos, which can be viewed below.

These videos may begin with a commercial which was not chosen by or for the benefit of DisAbility Rights Galaxy.
