Summary
Information from the U.S. Department of Education’s Direct Loan program now must be accessible for people with visual impairments. Due to a series of complaints from the National Federation of the Blind and three individuals represented by attorneys from the Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund and Brown Goldstein & Levy to the U.S. Department of Education, an agreement was reached to make Student Loan information available in alternative formats, such as Braille or large print.
