From event hosts:

Many believe that the only way to show support is to be physically present at protests when there are other ways to be involved. Using their position and experiences from the uprising in Minneapolis and the events in Wisconsin, Teighlor McGee will share the emotional impact of these events from the perspective of a Black disabled person, discuss the politics of these events, and highlight ways folx can get involved in movement-building within their communities. This presentation will come from a place of Teighlor’s philosophy around community care and how this framework can help envision a police-free world.
