Eating Disorders Awareness Week: Kirsten Haglund speaks out

Did you know that February 23rd through March 1st is Eating Disorders Awareness Week? According to the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, eating disorders are “statistically the deadliest of all mental illnesses”. In the video below, Kirsten Haglund, Miss America 2008 and founder of the Kirsten Haglund Foundation, joins Fox News to discuss various eating disorders, their impact on young women in particular, the reality of eating disorders as a severe mental illness, and the need for treatment and coverage by health insurance.
